I am confident that developers can make non-predatory, good, original games on mobile but I'm still waiting. there have definitely been some good mobile games made but netease isn't one of those people. the biggest thing that disappointed me from this announcement was saying they were partnered with netease on this since they pretty much only make reskinned p2w clone games of popular games already out there. While the backlash would probably still be pretty big, if they had an actual good developer make it or if they made it themselves even (and also not making it the last announcement of the day with all the hype they built on this announcement and whatnot) it wouldn't be as bad as it is now. --- ...
