Many democrats have shed favorability for the Jewish in recent years.

First off, saying "the Jewish" is rude. Secondly, Jews, especially in Pittsburgh, are more democratic currently than they were in the past, in part because of their aversion to Trump.

That's what I was getting at.

The event was political to begin with. Your suggestion that it's only political because of Democrats is naive.

Yeah okay. I highly doubt Trump turned the major democratic stronghold of Pittsburgh more Democratic. Eye roll.

And, what the fuck are you on about Jewish being offensive. Saying the Jewish (implied community) is not offensive.

Neither is the word Jew when not used as an insult.

"The noun Jew is not offensive, and the overwhelming majority of English-speaking Jews use the noun Jew to identify themselves. That said, it has become offensive for historical reasons to use the word Jew attributively, in modifying another noun (as in "Jew lawyer"); the adjective Jewish is preferred for this purpose. Additionally, the derived verbs jew and jew down are considered offensive, as they reflect stereotypes considered offensive."
