Okay, this has been bugging me a lot in the wake of the MAGAbomber and then the anti Semitic mass murderer in Pittsburgh. But how the fuck is any human being stupid enough to think DEMOCRATS are the real racists in America? Sure, there may be some racially tone-deaf statements made, but last I checked, neo-Nazis, White supremacists and Klansmen werent lining up to back the Democratic Party. Its like that Gillum video: sure, Republicans MIGHT not be racist, but theres certainly SOMETHING about their policies that appeals to fucking racists.

Anti-semitism is unfortunately not just a problem in the Republican Party.

It wasn't too long ago we talked about the favorability of the Jewish between parties. Many democrats have shed favorability for the Jewish in recent years. It doesn't help that they are usually white and are religious.

Democratic party has gone further and further anti-religion over the years.

How many Jews in Pittsburgh do you know? Jewish leaders have straight up asked Trump not to visit because their congregations are so against who he is and what he stands for.

This literally isn't even on point. Not sure how you got from my post to yours.

That said.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2018/10/29/pittsburgh-shooting-some-jewish-leaders-dont-want-trump-visit/1805115002/

Sure. 11 Jewish leaders asked him not to come. Including the former rabbi.

The current rabbi said he absolutely welcomes Trump to visit and he would never not have him be welcomed because he is an American and Trump is his president.

Basically, you can tell which are Republicans and which are Democrats. Democrats say don't come. Republicans say come. Surprising. Since this happened in Pittsburgh which is a democratic bastion of support, it is not surprising that a democratic view is being shown here by some and making the event political.

Funny enough the letter is described as.

"The letter accused Trump of deliberately undermining the the safety of people of color, Muslims, LGBTQ people and people with disabilities."

Doesn't even mention the Jewish community and mentions Muslims. Like, I highly believe that letter was sent with an earnest, not political charge from the Jewish community.
