if you want to know the deal on this guy he is a young college professor that lives with his elderly father. the father hates aliens and blames them for his business going under. over the course of the episode we see the professor slowly go from accepting aliens and being ashamed of his dad's views, to embracing them and deciding his dad is right. during one battle against invaders, Martian Manhunter crashes into his house and it gets set on fire. later the dad dies during another battle. and that's when the son finally turns into a man on a mission to kill all aliens and puts on a mask
