| Veggeta X 10/29/18 8:40:58 AM #1: | Dunno how he found out, I think he subscribed to a Pro LinkedIn account and lurked and saw that I have been adding recruiters to my friends list and also I updated my resume. Anyway, he confronted me about it and he was very upset and asked me why I'm doing this. Plainly told him I need to get paid more and I spoke with him about this plenty of time. Asked me how much I think I should be getting paid and I gave him a number but he says bullshit I get paid a fair amount and my current salary fits the regional standard. Dunno where he's getting his info but I told him sure if you go by the very exclusive job duties of my job title then yes I'm paid fairly but the fact is I do a shit ton more than what my job description says. Told me he can't help me, if I wanted a raise I need to go talk to the CEO. I told him his job is to fight for more money for me, it's not my job to do that. They can lay me off now.
