In my cinema (yes, in America) there is basically 1 dude with... different capabilities that cuts your tickets, 1 Island with electronic kiosks and 1 guy at the ticket booth.
The cinema is dramatically understaffed, to the point they open the food selling area burn leave it unattended sometimes.
