People don't want your help, they just want to make money by doing as little work as possible, manipulate others, or actively hurt everyone around them.

What about the people that are too simple to do any of those things? I guess the last one is easy, but when simple people can't lie you can see what human nature really is.

Mostly nice. All very driven by a certain thing that keeps them waking up every morning. Most sane people chase the feeling of happiness because they're literally drug addicts to it. They don't think about it very hard and they have no underlying scheme except avoiding things that make them sad. They won't do things that make them feel guilty because guilt makes them sad.

Positivity does encourage more thought than negativity, so people will focus more on what will make them happy more than what will make others sad.

This is where a paranoid narcissist (like you or me) will recognize humans as evil and stupid. Depending on what day you ask me I'll agree or disagree on evil. Evil ignorance is sort of an oxymoron.

I find people completely lacking empathy as rare as blind people.
