Disney is nothing more than an SJW echo-box.

Depp's persona is more in league with true Libertarian thinkers like his bygone friend Hunter S. Thompson, and comedian Doug Stanhope.

Originally, Depp enjoyed playing a pirate for exercising that idealism (before Disney went all SJW), and it became painfully obvious that the last two movies were nothing but paycheck roles, in lieu of paying off his gold-digging ex-wife.

Now that Disney is going on their SJW kick, I'm betting Depp got let go because of "creative differences" which is just another way of saying he refused to play the part of the Soy-boy posing as a pirate which Disney wanted him to be.

This topic will be another notch in the "Get Woke, Go Broke" meme; since not a lot of people are too keen on seeing a different lead that conforms to Disney's motives.
