It takes a while to sort through and start working on years of information and experiences. 2. Not every therapist is a good fit for you. Some are more result focused, some are more about emotive feeling, they're still humans and their personalities and mindsets do affect how they work. If you feel the need to switch after a couple of months, do it. 3. For the love of Gawwwd, if nothing else, please do not get referred and medicated without extensive sessions and time. Nothing fucks you up even more than a chemical imbalance in the brain. Good luck, dude.
