Topic	Have there been any female serial killers?

It seems like the male serial killers are the ones that most would know about, especislly in the last 10-20 years. I can't really think of a "well known" serial killer over the last 20 years that wasn't someone who's popularity was already shaped by the media and their influences in popular cinema and such. I mean, there's maybe like 6 well known ones total anyway? Serial killer or mass murderer, I should clarify. You don't hear about female mass murderers but there are many males lately, such as James Holmes, Adam Lanza, Virginia Tech shooter... --- Dont be ridiculous.
