For me, it's left/right. Top/bottom feels like it squishes the screen too much. Three or four player is pretty obvious - Mario Kart got that right all the way back in Super Mario Kart. Four screens on either, with a camera feed on the "extra" screen on three player. --- MH4U, OR, AC:NL, and Fantasy Life: FC 4897-6142-9063 Do not attack a person directly.
