Disappointing to hear this, but I find almost all dragon quest games to be good and solid games but very bland, compared to my favorites. I found XB2 to be a huge step down from XB1 and XBX, have you played the two of them? its a solid game, its just the plot is campy and the characters pretty bland. i dont mind a silent protagonist, but it really hurt this game. played XB1, not XBX. i really just think XB2 has more interesting characters. i think most of the hate for the game comes from the RNG. --- People die when they are killed.
