when women do come forward they're treated like they might have been at fault

Where? You can make this case for anything if you're using the internet trolls as an example

Seriously? The first questions a woman who says she was raped gets asked (especially by the police) are usually
1) what were you wearing
2) were you drinking
3) have you been involved with/ flirted with/ did you do anything to lead them on in the past
4) are you sure it was rape

Again this is just you saying stuff with nothing to back it up and sounding like your information us from the 80s or something. And "were you drinking" is actually an important question.

Do you not see how that's jumping straight to the victim blaming angle?

And if you think that I'm making it up then you clearly aren't close enough with any women to actually know that this is very common.

Im the youngest of 4. The other 3 are women. Im close with all of them. Im also a mommas boy. I mean it's fuckin horrible that it happens to women way more than men. But that could be what leads to this feeling like it's against women. Are you assuming cops don't ask the same questions to men that have been raped? I feel like you're misunderstanding what a cops job is. It's not to immediately defend the victim with no information.
