If it makes you feel any better, I had malignant cancer in my liver back in 1994 (a tumor the size of a grapefruit). I was a St. Jude patient, and they had to cut out 2/3 of my liver, my appendix, and my gall bladder in an 11-hour procedure, followed by 8 months of intense chemo... ...but it worked! I made it.
