You can always submit an empty ballot and that should count as something as well. If the majority of Americans dont agree on either candidate that should mean something.

I didn't know you could just submit an empty ballot, and what is the point of even doing so? Not being rude, it's a legitimate question.

It's more important that you're at least presented the opportunity to vote. Some people have weird hours that don't give them time to go out and vote, or they don't know that they can have their ballot mailed to them. At least by sending in an empty ballot, you're confirming that the voting system hasn't COMPLETELY failed its people, and that you could vote if you felt like it.
