You can always submit an empty ballot and that should count as something as well. If the majority of Americans dont agree on either candidate that should mean something.

Yes, and because when you vote you also vote for ballot measures and other things as well. So you can have an opinion on, let's say solar energy, and still not want to vote for whomever.
