I never thought they'd go back and finish the game. I'm glad they did. I did a play-through a few months back. While I really enjoy the game for its atmosphere, sense of humor, and nods to classic monsters, I really think it does have enough content for an Angry Video Game Nerd episode.

The maze in stage 6 is completely insane. Door after door after door after door. And stage 7 has a glitch where the level cannot be beaten if you defeat all three bosses. Beating two boss will give you the key. Beating the third one will make it disappear. And the last level is just flat out brutal. The unfinished Japanese port is also worthy of discussion. A number of monsters in the game were reskinned due to fear of copyright issues. For example, there's a cat boss which was originally meant to resemble Gizmo from Gremlins.

With or without an accompanying AVGN video, I'm glad that they went back and finished it.
