It matters because studies that say epilepsy in any way is treatable by weed come from one of the Nordic countries. And even there the studies are limited. CBD isn't exactly obtainable in the US since every plant here is just to get you high. So obviously it's going to be illegal.
Though I am curious what sort of epilepsy you have and why you decided to pursue weed as a treatment, assuming it's not going to be some stoner reason.
