It doesn't make them wrong or evil to do so, it's quite naturally a part of being human. Human's don't operate without bias, it's something we all have. It does not confirm nor deny the allegations are true if a person decides, based on what THEY have read and witnesses, that they feel he is guilty. Because people choose to read and believe what fits their personal beliefs. They will reject information that is contrary to their preformed bias.
