Something being organic has nothing to do with its nutritional content and this misconception is why a lot of hippie vegans and vegetarians are actually fat.

The word "organic" is often a buzzword these days, and it's more relevant to farming practices' effects on the environment than anything else. This is the sort of reasoning behind why so many soccer moms who shop at Whole's Foods are kind of fat- they just eat sugar dressed up as something "natural"
