The two sports are held to different standards. The whole point of football is to tackle so of course it still remains the most physical sport. Tackling isn't allowed in basketball. Football has regressed a lot especially because of the new rule that makes every tackle on the QB roughing the passer. Basketball has done the opposite and actually progressed. Yes the foul calls and stoppages were unbearable 3+ years ago buts it's much better now and the game flows freely and isn't as long. The two sports are going in two different directions.

Its not a sport if it isnt legal to hit somebody.

There's more wear and tear on the body in tennis even though there's no contact. That's more of a sport than any of the big 4.


I actually do like tennis too, lol. I dont watch it consistently or anything but I'll take a tennis game over baseball, basketball, or soccer anyday.
