I'm diagnosed borderline and Bipolar II

The best way to describe it is that I do have "mixed episodes" (mood swings) but they generally coincide w/ whether I'm depressed or manic.

The depressive states/manic states are pretty predictable now that I'm older and look for the signs of each, but the mood swings suck; they're generally limited, if that makes sense. Like, if I'm depressed I'll have mood swings between different, more negative emotions. During mania it's the same but for more positive emotions. Sometimes it can completely stray from where I am which really sucks... Also everything w/ relationships and friends and family sucks.

I've been to three professionals and they say "Just be glad you don't have Bipolar I" I guess that's more intense mania, like unimaginable compared to type II.

idc when people conflate or misunderstand either of them...There's really no sense worrying about whether everyone fully grasps every nitpicky aspect of life.
