And what's this about Homecoming? I remember the movie being showered with praise pre and post release, thanks to the positive reaction of him in Civil War. Of course there are people who dislike it but they're definitely in the minority.

You're probably right. And yeah some people were shitting on homecoming claiming it was too much of a kid movie because they just couldn't admit they were wrong.

I don't know why they went for a kid friendly film for this, when deadpool and logan did so well with adult ratings. Clear market for them, and would've fit with Venom perfectly from the little I know of him.

I agree, but it's probably to leave open the chance to incorporate venom into other movies, or other characters into venom movies. I think they're planning on having a Venom Comic Universe that might just one day be able to join the MCU, cuz I k ke they're planning on having multiple Venom movies.
