Blame uninformed, undecided voters. The other match is a toss-up, but all Blastoise really has going for it is the cover of Blue. Squirtle is beloved for being one of the first starters, and it's cuter to boot. I give the edge to Squirtle, but I wouldn't be surprised if I was completely wrong either.
