You can get that Lyons chick to kill herself for you. Although I do agree it was bullshit that you couldn't play after the ending or that several of your companions couldn't do it. Thankfully that fixed that in Broken Steel Also the final choice is literally "do the only thing that makes sense" or "kill yourself and everyone else because lulz" I disagree considering in order to GET to that final choice you've actively made decisions that sell your character as invested.
