No, my point is that communism does recognize ownership because that's what the whole issue is about - workers being able to reap the benefits of their own labor instead of having most of it taken by some elite (whether corporate execute or political elite). You can see it in action at different scales. For example, cooperatives where the workers own part of the company and get paid from the profits based on their share. This is as opposed to a regular company where the workers only get a wage disconnected from profits (though often getting paycuts in tough times).
I guess I'm speaking more towards Marxism in that he believed once the workers seized the means of production, this would mean classes dissolve and no single owner would exist, there would be no more need for state violence since its only a tool of the owners of the means of production.
