I assume 1337's point is in "true communism" the state "withers away" so the post by Revnir is wrong...

And my point is that the state aint withering away...

No, my point is that communism does recognize ownership because that's what the whole issue is about - workers being able to reap the benefits of their own labor instead of having most of it taken by some elite (whether corporate execute or political elite). You can see it in action at different scales. For example, cooperatives where the workers own part of the company and get paid from the profits based on their share. This is as opposed to a regular company where the workers only get a wage disconnected from profits (though often getting paycuts in tough times).
