| _BlueMonk 09/27/18 1:34:50 AM #18: | heres the thing. i had 4 of the ultimate rewards cards. the chase freedom, the chase sapphire reserve, the chase freedom unlimited, and the Chase Ink Preferred (a business credit card). the CIP offers 3x on travel, and the ability to transfer my chase points out to airline/hotel partners, and i get a 1.25x redemption. sure the reserve gets 1.5x but i barely used it and its like a 50 dollar difference on most of the flights i used it for. whatever. so it was redundant to have both. i got the Plat cuz i would get a of the features that the CSR had that the CIP didn't have, like lounge access, but it also gave me MORE. CENTURION LOUNGE!!!! AIRSPACE LOUNGE (i mean theres only 2, but they're there!) MARRIOTT/SPG GOLD ELITE STATUS (free room upgrades!!!) HILTON GOLD (free breakfast and room upgrades!) so i just swapped out the CSR for the Plat and got more value OVERALL across all my cards plus, rumors are that the Premium Rewards Gold card (of which i have 2) is gonna have a points overhaul and have fucking 4 POINTS PER DOLLAR ON RESTAURANTS AND G R O C E R Y S T O R E S i was at my local safeway looking at all the gift cards they sell and i got excited! 4 points per dollar!!! and and AND, since i got the Charles Schwab version, i can redeem 1.25 cents per point redemption!!!
