Never seen it before, but I get the feeling I'd like it, provided it doesn't contain gelatine (in which case I wouldn't eat it).

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bit-O-Honey
Its ingredients as of 2013 are corn syrup, sugar, nonfat milk, hydrogenated coconut oil, almonds, honey, salt, egg whites, canola and/or safflower and/or palm oil, modified soy protein, natural flavor, TBHQ, and citric acid.

Essentially, think a Tootsie Roll that's caramelized-honey flavored instead of chocolate.

Nothing I prefer to avoid on moral grounds. TBHQ sounds a bit dodgy from a quick 5-second google session, but eh, I'll work around methylated spirits or acetone with zero protective gear, what harm is a tiny bit of an artificial preservative gonna do? :D

I will note I've never seen / had a tootsie roll either. Our confectionary options over here are somewhat limited. We do get the really, REALLY common ones (eg. Mars, Snickers, Dairy Milk, Kitkat, etc) but anything even slightly less popular tends to not exist here, outside of specialty confectionary stores that import it from the UK or US.
