Those games were basically all funded by TWD Season 1. They bought licenses for other games, like Batman, which were extremely expensive, and then after making the game, it didn't sell well enough to recoup the money for the license. Had they instead made original games rather than license-chasing, they probably wouldn't have been in the position they're in now. That's an upper executive management problem, though.
