It's absurd when payment processing companies strong-arm their merchants in to adhering to a political or moral position. Infrastructure doesn't get to object to the disposition of those who use it. Roads can't pop the tires of drivers just because the driver thinks that men should be able to get married to dogs. Come off of your high horse, Paypal; you're the fucking help.

Nothing is stopping Alex from using Credit Cards as a payment source on his site. Or him using Credit Cards to buy things.

How do you think credit cards work?

That they don't require using PayPal? I've never had a PayPal account and I get by fine using my credit card to purchase things online.

Your payments are still going through a large payment processor who can dictate what content the website may host. IIRC, Patreon changed its policy on what content is allowed due to pressure from their payment processor. It's seriously affected some of my favorite content creators.

And PayPal isn't the only payment processor he can add to his site. And even if it was, nothing is stopping him from building his own.

1. You need to hire a lot of programmers and make damn sure you get the security right.
2. You need to establish relationships with banks and card brands, which will be hard considering he's Alex fucking Jones.

Well too bad for him then. Free market.
