Just because you don't mind pulling out an old system to play games on it, you should still be able to see how it would be better if everything from that console could get played on the new console you have. You really can't see that?

What would be better?

1. Pulling out and hooking up any console you don't have currently hooked up to be able to play that old Snes game.

2. Being able to just play that Snes game on your Switch just by selecting it?

Keep in mind, I'm not talking about only first party old school games.

This is obviously different from other people, but my systems are all by the tv. I don't put them up in boxes or anything. Switch is super easy. I made it that way because I have many systems that I constantly switch between. So, those two wouldn't really make a difference unless I wanted to play handheld. Or online, I guess... I've been using the same HDMI cable for my laptop, PS4, and Switch. So, I don't even have to go behind the tv for those three...
