I live alone, so not a big issue (plus other then Netflix I don't use my TV for anything else). In college though, my friends had no problem when one of them hooked up their computer to their TV, and the other had his XBox hooked up. I mean, no more of a problem then sharing a TV would be otherwise.

I guess it just depends. Like my roommate and I share the living room tv. But sometimes, I just want to browse gamefaqs or do whatever. And I would feel bad if I was just using the tv for that. But it's different for every home. Especially if you still live with family or have a family of your own...

Thing is I would agree with you back before the PS3/360 gen. But nowadays exclusives are becoming less and less to the point where it is not financially feasible to get one for the one or two games I might consider. The only real exclusive I hear PC gamers really complain about is Bloodbourne, and even then you have Dark Souls to tide you over.

Usually, for me, it's not normally one or 2 games. That being said, I also get certain systems to play with certain people that only have certain systems...
