Depends on your goals.

When I was19 I was doing 16-20 hour days, every day, for weeks on end in the oilfield. It was glorious. I made more money as a goombah than guys out if college.

But I could only do it so long.

Now, I have no issue doing 12-16 hour days, or longer, because I'm looking to climb within my company. And work ethic, and meeting deadlines (even shitty ones) matters.

If your ambitious, and need to climb, it's not abnormal.
