the best salespeople at the dealership I work at are the ones who apply very little pressure and are honest about a car's features versus the customer's needs. they consistently have the most repeat customers and referrals. the guys who are pushy and like to break out the four square usually don't last long

unfortunately, the real pressure comes from finance. those guys are fucking snakes and will promise you the world as long as you buy an extended warranty. (and us peons in service are left explaining to the customer that something isn't covered)
