Topic	Why do Americans loot during a crisis but Japanese dont?

I don't know, when I hear looting, I generally think of people breaking into places and stealing stuff. Those guys took stuff, but it was outside the warehouse (no one illegally entered to take things) and it was most likely unsellable, even if it were recovered. Looting here in America tends to be people people taking advantage of disasters to smash some windows and steal shit.
