Topic	Honest, serious question. What's wrong with having a crush on a teacher?

Girls that have relationships with teachers can end up pregnant and forced to decide between abortion or painfully enduring pregnancy in front of all your friends only to then be burdened with the responsibility of caring for a child before you've even received a diploma. This is a weak argument from a neutral point of view. The same could be applied to any relationship a girl of this age could have. Being it with a teacher or anyone else wouldn't matter in this case. It is because the teacher should know better. The girl being with a boy the same age as her and getting pregnant can be chalked up to youthful ignorance. With the teacher it is just plain negligence on the teacher's part. That is why age of consent laws are a thing. Ignorance? Only if they are younger than 13 or something. Otherwise everyone should know better, specially if they're attending school. Law says 18 (federally at least, depends on the state). The law is stupid, and treat minors like stupid people. ... okay, thinking about it, there are plenty of stupid minors out there, but still, the gray zone between 15 and 17 should be treated legally different in a bunch of cases imho.
