I remember before 2016 it was more centered on making fun of neckbeards/furries/cloppers/etc. Like all these subs, it was fine until it got invaded by /pol/ losers who then hijacked it and made it more and more extreme to normalize their hateful rhetoric. For example right now the 7th post on the page is one that's praising Pinochet. Not even making memes about it, just straight up celebrating him and vocalizing their desire to send people on helicopter rides. There's all sorts of shit crying about how unfair it is that MDE was banned. And if you sort by new it's loaded full of low quality racist shit making fun of black people.
