I'm maybe 1-2 years from buying a Switch (probably going to wait until they release a new SKU, one that does something to address that dead pixel issue) whereas I'm not planning on picking up a ps4 until near the end of the generation because I haven't used my ps3 in like a year and a half. Never knew the switch had a dead pixel issue. Mines a launch switch and I have no dead pixels. Seriously?
