Her actions in U.S. Open finals speak for themselves. In the 2009 final, she threatens a line judge then denies (people sitting court side called her out on her lie). In 2011, she gets into another argument, asking if the people involved were "the same as last time" (they weren't). And now she throws another fit declaring this happens every year (it doesn't). You can just look at the gaps in time to see this clearly isn't happening all the time. It could be because she's black, but that didn't seem to stop Sloane Stephens from winning the U.S. Open last year. Maybe it's anti-woman bias everyone is talking about, but, honestly, going off the "if it's men, it's outspoken, if it's women, it's hysterical" accusations of a double standard, I've been trying to think of another women who's been accused of that or something similar, much less had multiple incidents like Serena, and I'm having trouble thinking of others. I can think of men like Benoit Paire who are regarded as basket cases who won't amount to anything if they don't get over themselves.
