That's why I read it at least, so I could argue against it whenever it comes up. I also did a college project on it specifically to tear it apart. you read a 1,168 page book so you could say how much you don't like it? More so to critique it accurately. I heard about it all the damn time. Both good and bad. I'd rather read the thing and decide myself then participate on whatever side I agreed with when it came up rather than just pretend I knew more than the absolute basics. It was a good book for like the first 400 pages. I was genuinely interested in it up until like the end of the second act. So to answer your question, yes.
