Absolutely. Quality can even vary from the same location on different days with different workers, but this is true for almost anything. Just luck of the draw if you find a place you generally like, and how many times they can fuck something up while still being your go-to place.

So true. I say as someone who likes PJ's, and have for quite a long time, but every one (not many) of those "Perfect Pans" I've had has been awful. Just awful. It's quite possible that's the worst crust in the history of the universe.
