Topic	got a flyer advertising workin at mconalds. it says "Competitive pay!"

I have difficulty believing that there's any locale where that might be true because most places with that little opportunity wouldn't have a McDonald's. McDonalds in Canada isn't a serf-market. They start at $15.60/hour (I had to edit it, it's minimum plus 3) And by chill I mean like there's usually people in the kitchen playing pokemon with the random school kids and stuff --- "Salt cures Everything!"
