Topic	Has there ever been a terrorist that has tried to destroy history?

In 9/11, the terrorists destroyed the twin towers and damaged the Pentagon. They were wanting to damage the financial and military aspects of America. What they didn't realize was that even if the country becomes financially damaged, that it can recover from that. If the military gets damaged, it can rebuild.
