Well short of being terminal, nobody should commit suicide at all. And where I was mentally at the time, I felt like the life insurance money was worth more to him than I was alive. But despite thinking that, I also knew that he wouldn't see it that way and would be crushed, and that's what made me erase it from my mind no matter how bad things got.
