The problem I find is that people will watch trailers that clearly state something along the lines of "This is still in production, and can change from the final release" at the start of the trailer, but then people disregard that entirely and expect exactly the game showed in the trailer.
The thing is, this used to mean gameplay things could change, or even that the graphics would get better.
Now it pretty much only means shit isn't going to look as good.
How much fucking money is wasted making things look that good only to not use it?
Yeah I remember when early looks at games were actually unpolished alpha builds instead of overly polished bullshit builds
Yeah it still happens. Just not with Sony exclusive games. Sony is the only company that lies like this.
I think Ubisoft has actually been pretty great lately but they've definitely done this a lot ---
