I still find it fascinating that ten years ago Barrack Obama was running on a campaign of restoring bipartisanship and cooperation to government and he was widely lauded for it.

Can you imagine any politician, of either party, running a campaign today on the idea of cooperating with the other party? They'd be flayed alive.


The irony is that Obama himself drove much of the division and political climate we see today.
