I definitely need a personal trainer. It's been 10 years since I worked out and I just really need someone with me at the beginning when I'm building a muscle base.

The machines just look so complicated with all those doodads and some don't even have one of those tiny demonstration pictures. Thank goodness for free weights. I just want to know I'm doing the exercise correctly.

Also I don't mean intimidating in the sense that they're going to beat me up like the bullies from karate kid, but more like I don't know what I'm doing at the machines and everyone else is confidently pumping away, and I really don't want to seem like I'm hogging a machine willy nilly.

Ask anyone f you are not sure, everyone is always willing to help.
gym people are ultra open about helping newbs, I was in your shows a couple of years back but you get into the mix pretty fast once you learn how the machiens work.
