To his audience, his line of thinking doesn't need to be incoherent. He just needs to mention words strung together and the impression that his audience will get is that these things are irrevocably linked i.e. "democrats, win, violence, antifa".

Exactly, Trump's target audience communicates in grunts and often has parents related by both blood and marriage.
