Elise is nice that way because she's only 5, has okay-ish stats, and provides more for your late game. But if she's not working for you, then what would complement that better? Grom is the perennial warrior favorite, of course, but he costs 8 and not everyone owns him. Or, if you don't think the deck needs it, maybe a little extra power in clearing boards -- gorehowl or drake.

For that matter, how good is Dr. Boom here? It's not a mech deck, and I'm not a big fan of the card without a specific plan to leverage it...which, of course, is hard to do when your hero power keeps changing.


I haven't really needed threats, I've been winning by just clearing everything thrown at me until the opponent concedes, and 90% of my games have been against aggro/zoo decks and the occasional Egg/Cube. I don't think I've queued into a single combo deck since the first couple of days so it hasn't been an issue yet. Warrior is also the class I have the fewest wins in, and this is the first time I've ever really tried playing Control Warrior. I don't seem to open up a lot of Warrior epics or legendaries, and I'm still missing a good chunk of them including Gromm. It's hard to convince myself to spend the dust crafting those cards for a class I pretty much never play.

The problem with Elise is I sit around playing defensively in most games so I never have the hand space to open the pack. I love value and greed, but if I never open the pack even after drawing it it's kind of pointless. There's been more than one game where I've had ten cards at the start of every turn, and five of them are packs and Omega Assemblys that I don't have room to play.

Boom has been... okay? He's the reason I'm playing the deck so I'd probably just play something else entirely before cutting him, but most games see me under enough pressure early on that I can't afford to abandon the armor until the late stages of the game.

Honestly, I should just play Odd Warrior. I don't know what it is, but something about the deck just doesn't interest me. It probably should, the way in which I like to play makes that deck feel almost tailor made for me, but...eh.
